Refund Policy

This refund policy outlines the conditions under which you may receive a refund for our services.

Terms and Conditions

Customers of Stove Spot who agree to our Terms and Conditions are bound by them, and they take precedence over any other general terms and conditions set forth herein.

Please read the following terms of service before using Stove Spot’s services.

The relationship between Stove Spot (the “Company”) and the person or company (the “Customer”) named in the estimate or order for said service is governed by the terms of service listed below.

These terms and conditions will be called the “Agreement” between the two parties named above.

Stove Spot strives to diagnose and repair problems on the first service visit; however, this is not always possible.

We are not liable for losses or damages resulting from misdiagnosis or delays in completing diagnosis or repairs.

If we do not correct the problem covered by your repair, or if a replacement part fails, our sole responsibility will be to repair the issue and, if necessary, provide an additional replacement part.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic damages, nor for loss or damages to any person or property arising from the use or inability to use the equipment, to the extent such may be disclaimed by law.

We do not cover any defects subject to a manufacturer’s or distributor’s recall in-home warranty or are covered under a manufacturer’s, distributor’s, or builder’s reimbursement program.

Diagnostic Refund

The diagnostic fee is non-refundable. Diagnostics is a specialized service that assesses the condition of your stove.

Given the nature of our business, Stove Spot performs numerous diagnostics on kitchen stoves daily.

Many stoves are beyond repair because of severe wear and tear, misuse, or external causes.

Stove Spot offers a diagnostic service to determine whether a stove is repairable.

We always inform the client that the diagnostic fee will be waived if they proceed with the repair.

By ordering a diagnostic service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, and we confirm your order and send a technician to you.

Cancellation of Parts Order

Stove Spot adheres to a quality service policy, and sometimes, it is necessary to order spare parts to complete repairs.

The following rules apply if you request to cancel the parts order after the technician has placed it.

Stove Spot will withhold 30% of the cost of the part plus $30 for shipping and handling fees. The diagnostic fee will also be deducted from your deposit.

This cancellation fee covers our expenses, including those imposed by the replacement part supplier.

You may cancel your order without consequences within 15 minutes after the technician places the order. By ordering a spare part, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Repairs Performed More Than 3 Months Ago

If the repair performed by Stove Spot was completed more than 3 months ago and the warranty has expired, we cannot provide a refund following our Warranty Terms, which cannot exceed 3 months.

Please make a new appointment with Stove Spot to diagnose and repair your stove.

Misdiagnosis

If you believe that Stove Spot has incorrectly diagnosed your stove, please keep the receipt issued by our technician.

To confirm the incorrect diagnosis, provide an invoice from another company that diagnosed your stove and found an entirely different issue.

This will help demonstrate any mistakes made during our initial diagnosis and support your claim.

Please keep those receipts if you have replaced any components after our diagnosis. After verifying all the information provided and confirming the misdiagnosis, we will begin the refund procedure.

Labor Refund

Stove Spot takes a flexible approach to each client and does everything possible to meet their needs.

After completing the repair and installing any ordered parts, the technician conducts a test to confirm the operability of the repaired stove.

Once the customer and technician confirm that the stove is working correctly, the repair is considered complete, invoiced, and the warranty is immediately issued.

Therefore, we cannot refund labor costs after the repair has been confirmed as complete.

If the repaired stove shows signs of malfunction after the repair, the warranty will come into effect.

Rejection of Warranty Visit

After the repair is completed, Stove Spot issues a 3-month warranty in case the problem reoccurs.

Suppose the customer declines to use the provided warranty when a new or recurring problem is discovered.

In that case, we cannot refund the costs of labor, installed parts, or any other expenses, as we cannot verify the nature of the problem or determine if it was caused by an incorrect repair or an unrelated issue.

Unavailable Parts or Non-Repairable Equipment

Stove Spot tries to locate replacement parts or appropriate substitutes quickly, but limited availability may cause delays.

If a part is unavailable or cannot be obtained at a commercially reasonable cost, we are not liable for replacing the equipment.

Violation of Terms

When possible, the Company will contact the Customer by phone or email before acting if the Customer violates any conditions.

However, the Company will take necessary steps to serve its best interests, including immediately suspending or terminating the Customer’s services.

Please get in touch with us if you have any questions about these Terms of Service.
